MY CIRCLE GOLF OFFERS CHANCE TO MEET TOP COACH RICK SHIELS

My Circle Golf is hosting a day with social media star and one of Europe's top golf coaches, Rick Shiels, at the London Golf Club - and 10 lucky members of the app's community will be drawn out of a hat to attend.

Shiels, a Golf Monthly top-25 coach with more than 170,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel, will hold a ‘masterclass' with the lucky My Circle Golf members at the prestigious venue on Saturday, March 18, before heading out on to the course with them.

Shiels said: "Though golf is rooted in tradition and heritage, I've seen first-hand a real appetite in recent years for golfers to embrace the digital revolution. I'm excited and proud to play my part in the launch of this mobile app set to connect golfers from all walks of life - especially getting to meet with the lucky community members at the London Club next month."

The My Circle Golf app helps golfers play more regularly and discover new courses by giving them access to a community of like-minded golfers - and founder Gian Paolo Ziletti is keen that members should also be able to enjoy various one-off events such as this.

He explained: "This is a great opportunity for 10 lucky members of the My Circle Golf community to interact with and tee it up with a top-level coach. And, as the draw won't be made until mid-March, there is still time for golfers to sign up for the app and to be entered into the draw."

Inspired by social networks, which brought together groups of like-minded people in social ‘circles' Ziletti conceived My Circle Golf to provide the same service for golfers.

Available now from the Apple app store and Google Play store, My Circle Golf is free to download. It currently provides connections and locations for people wishing to play in London and the south-east, on top of regular events, and plans for a national roll-out during the golf season.
