Three teams will represent England in the German Boys and Girls Open which starts on Thursday at St Leon-Rot Golf Club.
There will be one boys’ team of three players: Toby Briggs of Norfolk, Ben Jones of Northamptonshire and Charlie Strickland of Sussex.
The girls will have two teams of two players: Surrey sisters Sammy and Annabell Fuller will pair up, alongside Lily May Humphreys of Essex and Amelia Williamson of Norfolk.
The 54-hole championship is one of the biggest youth events in Europe with a field of 100 boys and 100 girls, all of whom play all three rounds. There are individual and team competitions.
The players: Toby Briggs, 17, (Dunston Hall) is an England and GB&I boy international, who has recently had top 20 finishes in the Portuguese amateur and the U18 Peter McEvoy Trophy.
Ben Jones, 18, (Northamptonshire County) was fourth in the Peter McEvoy Trophy and tied 10th in the U21 Bernard Darwin Salver. He was an U16 boy international.
Charlie Strickland, 18, (Ham Manor) has won twice this year, in the Peter McEvoy Trophy and the men’s Duncan Putter in Wales. He was also runner-up in the Darwin Salver.
Annabell Fuller, 15, (Roehampton) has just been selected for GB&I’s Junior Vagliano Trophy team to play the Continent of Europe, following in her sister's footsteps. She reached the quarter finals of the French U18 Cartier Trophy and was third individually in the women’s European Nations Cup Sammy Fuller, 18, (Roehampton) got to the quarter finals of the recent French U21 championship and has had high finishes in the Scottish, Welsh and Irish women’s stroke play championships.
Lily May Humphreys, 15, (Stoke by Nayland) won three big titles last year and reached the match play in the 2017 French U18 Cartier Trophy. She has also been picked for the GB&I junior Vagliano Trophy team.
Amelia Williamson, 16, (Royal Cromer) recently became the first winner of the Gold Rose Trophy, given by Justin Rose, for her combined performance in the Roehampton Gold Cup and the Hampshire Rose. She was runner-up in the girls’ Fairhaven Trophies.
