Bletchingley Golf Club Launches Brand New Driving Range

Bletchingley Golf Club announces the opening of its new driving range just in time for Spring. The privately owned club, based in Surrey, has recently undergone a £100K renovation to improve its practice facilities. Bletchingley Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 72 private golf course offering a fine challenge to golfers at all levels, but now opens it’s doors to the public, as it extends its offering to include an eight bay driving range. Ben Daniels, the PGA Professional at the club comments on the reasons behind the expansion “We noticed that there was a demand for a premium facility in the area and so we wanted to create a place where our existing members and members of the public could come and hit good quality range balls - there’s nothing else quite like it within a 5 mile radius”. The renovations include a new Huxley all-weather pitching and chipping area, eight spacious bays to hit balls from, premium Callaway Warbird practice balls and a state of the art coaching studio for its Academy Professionals.

The expansion also comes with the merge of the two teaching academies at Bletchingley and indoor golf facility Let’s Golf, in Horley. Steve Furlonger, Head Professional at Let’s Golf says “We’re excited about the partnership with Bletchingley Golf Club, as we feel it will cover all aspects for those who want to experience top golf tuition. Students will be able to enjoy full access to our HD golf simulators, alongside a course lesson at Bletchingley and swing coaching on its range to provide students with a well rounded approach to their tuition.”

On opening weekend Bletchingley Golf Club will be organising a variety of activities to celebrate the launch of its new range, including Q&A’s with tour players, free taster lessons and demonstrations. For first time visitors to the range there will also be a chance to redeem a complimentary bucket of balls.
