Hoebridge Golf Centre becomes the first TrackMan Range facility in England

Hoebridge Golf Centre in Woking, a BGL (Burhill Group Limited) Golf venue, has become the first golf facility in the country to install the pioneering TrackMan Range technology at its modernised and revamped driving range.

The upgraded driving range now features 27 TrackMan Range bays, as well as two VIP hitting bays, all of which are fitted with the first TrackMan range screens installed anywhere in the world, allowing players of all ages and abilities to track their range shots and engage in a variety of different game modes, making it the ultimate social golf destination.

The state-of-the-art new range at Hoebridge is now open to all daily from 8am until 9pm, with temporary measures in place to ensure guests’ safety while they enjoy the new facility.

Currently trusted by 96 of the world’s top 100 ranked golfers, as well as PGA professionals and club fitters the world over, TrackMan’s radar technology has revolutionised ball and club-tracking in golf since 2003.

The TrackMan Range product technology enables guests to practice with feedback and purpose while playing world-famous golf courses, enjoying practice sessions, challenging friends or enjoying time with family.

The ground-breaking technology precisely measures each shot, giving instant feedback on ball speed, carry distance, launch angle and more. Information is then either displayed on an in-bay monitor or via the free mobile app which records all the shot data in a player’s profile to review later.

As well as high-tech upgrades to the practice facilities, the revamped Hoebridge site is now home to a brand new ‘Caddy Shack’ bar which features a tasty menu of bar snacks and drinks.

Jonathan Gray, General Manager at Hoebridge Golf Centre, commented: “There has never been a better time to get into golf and our new range provides the perfect setting to enjoy the fun side of the game through the interactive game modes and enhanced feedback.

“I’d encourage anyone in the local area to come and try the tech and enjoy our new driving range. From families, to beginners and experienced players, the system provides a fun and engaging experience to all.”

Ranked among the finest pay-and-play courses in Surrey, Hoebridge Golf Centre boasts an abundance of first-class facilities including a scenic 18-hole main course, a 9-hole course and a fun 18-hole short course that is ideal for beginners and families. The club also benefits from Mr Mulligan’s Pirate Golf adventure golf course, a short game practice area and a well-stocked professional shop.
